In some situations, a user could require access to the SOLABS QM instances of different customers. For example, an external consultant who is subject to short-term contracts with different customers in the same field of work could be required to sign training or documents in each of those customers' instances.
Currently, outside of the root instance (SOLABS' instance), it is not possible to use the same username to access instances that belong to different customers.
For this reason, we recommend that users in this situation create usernames based on the customer to whom the instance belongs.
For example, a user "jsmith" from a consulting company (email usually is "jsmith@consulting.org" is required to have an account with both CustomerA and CustomerB. His account would ideally be created as 'jsmith@customerA.com' and 'jsmith@customerB.com', making it easy for him to remember which account is tied to which customer.
It is important to note that, outside of the format, the username is not an email address, nor is it required to match the email address of the account.
