What is the SOLABS ERoom?
SOLABS provides an ERoom to clients for sharing of Validation documentation and initial Configuration documentation. Access to the ERoom is usually limited to just the authorized Level II Support Contacts, although during initial implementation it may be made available to additional people.
The SOLABS ERoom includes a Public folder that contains Validation documentation for all historical versions of the Core Software and the Document Control Process. Each client will then have a folder that includes their client-specific validation and configuration documents.
Access to the ERoom:
Users of the SOLABS ERoom are given an External Account on SOLABS' internal instance of SOLABS QM 10. This instance is called the "Root Instance". When the accounts are created in the Root Instance, an automated email is sent to the users with instructions for setting up their Password in that instance. The password created will be specific for the account in the Root Instance, but could be the same as the one a user creates for their client instance.
After setting up the password in the Root Instance, the ERoom can be accessed from the link at the top of the screen in that instance. It can also be accessed directly at https://my.solabs.com/eroom/.
The Username for the ERoom will be your SOLABS Unique ID from the account set up in the Root Instance. If you are not provided with that Unique ID by SOLABS, you can find it under User Account Details on the SETUP screen when you log into the Root Instance during the initial setup of your Password. It is a randomly generated alpha-numeric number such as:
Once you have that Unique ID and your password, you will not ever need to access the SOLABS Root Instance again - you can instead always use the direct URL: https://my.solabs.com/eroom/
