Corrective Release 10.11.0-1
Applies To
Clients using Questionmark for Online Assessments; and
SOLABS' Root instance (minor fix).
Overview
This corrective release improves the reliability of the Questionmark assessment workflow by introducing a new Sync function.
The Sync button allows users to manually synchronize assessment results between Questionmark and QM10 whenever the systems become temporarily out of sync due to network interruptions, service restarts, or delayed communication.
This release also improves performance by reducing calls to the Questionmark instance and resolves a login issue affecting the Root instance.
New Sync Function
A new Sync button is now available while an assessment is in progress or whenever the assessment status has not yet been synchronized with QM10.
The Sync function can be used in the following situations:
Assessment completed with a failing result
If an assessment was completed with a failing result but QM10 has not yet synchronized the latest status:
- Click Sync to retrieve the latest assessment information.
- The assessment attempt is synchronized.
- The Open Assessment button remains available, allowing the assessment to be retaken.
This behavior is defined by requirements TQMA-3.0.33 and the failing assessment workflow.
Assessment completed successfully
If the assessment has been passed but QM10 still displays Open Assessment instead of Record my Training:
- Click Sync.
- QM10 retrieves the successful assessment result.
- The Record my Training button becomes available.
This behavior is covered by TQMA-3.0.34.
Temporary communication interruptions
The Sync function also allows users to recover when synchronization is interrupted because of temporary system availability issues, including:
- Questionmark service restarts
- QM10 service restarts
- Temporary communication failures between QM10 and Questionmark
If synchronization cannot be completed, informative messages are displayed to help users determine whether:
- the provider is temporarily unavailable,
- no assessment result is available yet,
- or the synchronization should be retried later.
These scenarios are covered by requirements TQMA-3.0.27 through TQMA-3.0.32.
Performance Improvements
Performance has been improved for organizations with large training assignments by optimizing calls made between QM10 and Questionmark instance.
Root Instance Login
Resolved an issue affecting the Root instance login page that prevented some users from successfully signing in.
