CORE Software and Document Control APP:
Initially, testing of Datasets and SSRS Reports provided with the core software as well as testing of subsequent changes was performed internally by SOLABS and documented in SOLABS Internal tracking system i.e. no formal qualification was performed. Issues reported by clients have always been logged and tracked just like any other software issue.
As of release 10.5.4, testing of changes along with new reports has been included and provided along with the qualification testing documentation of the core software. In release 10.8.0, the verification testing for datasets and SSRS reports has been done under protocol OQP-REP-SOL-001. Testing has been done for new reports and fixes to existing reports have also been tested as part of this protocol. Thus, starting in release 10.5.4 verification testing is available.
For 10.8.0, documentation for the verification testing can be found in the eRoom at this location:
After 10.8.0, all changes to existing core reports (Datasets and SSRS) and new reports are included as part of the Core Software Qualification exercises. In addition, as soon as there are fixes/changes in the Core Datasets and/or Core SSRS Reports as part of a release, Data Integrity Testing is performed through the execution of "TINS000034 - Validate dataset & SSRS Reports data integrity" during the qualification exercise in order to confirm that these changes did not impact the data that are retrieved in these reports.
As of released QM APPs:
For OTS (Off-the-shelves) QM APPs, such as P0050 and P0052, specific to QM APP requirements for SSRS and Dataset QM APPs reports can be found as part of the QM APP PUFDS documents. Those are tested as part of our internal formal testing phase. Verification is all documented in the internal SOLABS system but is not included as part of the IOQ protocol.
