When creating users in QM10, it is important to remember to grant the appropriate permissions to any document folders that they may need, especially if they will be authoring, reviewing or approving documents.
It is also important to review these permissions on a periodic basis to be sure users are able to do what they need to do in the system. If a user does not have the permissions they need, they will get a message from the system when trying to perform the related task and will need to contact their SOLABS System Administrator to request the permissions.
The attached User Guide addresses the setup and maintenance of privileges in the DOCUMENT section of SOLABS QM10. When initially setting up your Document Treeview folder structure, it is important to think about how you would like permissions to those folders to be managed.
