Security - Data Isolation

Many SaaS offerings have all of their clients' data within one single database. At SOLABS we have opted for a one database per client model, which allows us to better address the needs and expectations of our Life Sciences clients and partners.

Dedicated databases per client

We provide dedicated databases for each of our clients. There is no data exchange nor direct link between databases.

Dedicated database per QM10 instance

We also provide dedicated databases for each QM10 instance.  Therefore, the data from the Validation and Production environments are isolated for one another.

Unique Schema

When interacting with a SQL objects, such as reading or writing, executing a view or executing stored procedures, the schema's name is required to reach such object.  By having unique schema names per database, access to client-specific objects only is well under control.

Unique login & password

Each database has its own unique login (username) and password to ensure access management is well segregated across clients.
