Changes to Intervention Documentation
The SOLABS Support Team is excited to announce that we will moving to an automated (paperless) process for documenting the completion of support interventions!
Previously, when an intervention was performed, the SOLABS teams would print out a paper copy of the approved Technical Instructions (TINS), document the completion of each step, manually route the documents for wet ink approvals, then scan a copy of the approved document to provide to clients.
With this enhanced electronic process for TINS execution, the completion of each step will be documented via a ticket in the SOLABS internal ticketing system, which will then be routed electronically for approval by SOLABS’ Technical Reviewer and Quality Reviewer. When the workflow has been completed a “Signature Archive Document” will be generated from ticketing system which will contain all the necessary information about the intervention execution covering the intervention details, execution dates, steps, step status, and approval signatures. Included is a verification that no changes have been made to the data or attachments after approvals were completed. An example Signature Archive Document is presented below for reference.
What does this change mean for Clients?
Starting on XXXXX executed TINS documentation interventions in your environment(s) will be provided in the new format. The files will still be made available to Clients in the eRoom, and the SICC document process will remain unchanged.
The SOLABS Support Team is excited about this process improvement which will increase operational efficiency, aligns well with our commitment to social responsibility, and further enhances our client support capabilities!
