When a training activity is first created, the parameters settings default to what was set at the parent Curriculum level but can all be modified as long as the training activity is in a Not Started status. Once the Training Activity is set to an Active status, some settings can no longer be modified. These settings are the following:
Completion Requirements (End Users) |
Pass Rate |
Dismiss with justification |
Exceptions (Automatic Records) |
Completion requirements (Trainers) |
If there is a need to modify settings on an Active Training Activity, for example, to remove the Second Confirmation requirement or to Modify the Exception (Automatic Records), it will be possible only on the next version of the Training Activity. If a Training Activity is set for Recurrence based on the revision of a Curriculum Document, the next version of the Training Activity is created automatically (depending on the settings defined at the curriculum level) and settings are copied from the previous version. It is therefore important to make sure that the Status After Creation parameter for the Recurrence is Not Started on the training activity. This allows you to make any updates that may be necessary - as well as add new trainees or Due Dates for the revised Training Activity. The Status After Creation setting can be modified at any time on the Active Activities.
