Notifications in 10.9.0 – Modifications and New Notifications

In Release 10.9.0, there are some notifications that have been modified.  There are also some new notifications.   

Details are provided below:

 MODIFICATIONS TO DOCUMENT NOTIFICATIONS:

• Document Rejected During Approval Cycle
• Document Rejected on Your Behalf (as Part of Your Role)
• Document Rejected on Your Behalf
• Approval Cycle Stopped with Comments
• Document Rejected During Retire Cycle
• Document Retirement Rejected on Your Behalf (as Part of Your Role)
• Document Retirement Rejected on Your Behalf
• Retire Cycle Stopped with Comments

For these notifications, the Comments that are entered when the document is rejected or when the cycle is stopped have been included in the notification as follows:

Reason: [comments]

Document Location: [documentLocation]

Document Hyperlink: [documentLink]

Related DOC Control Process: [processUniqueID]*

Process Hyperlink : [ProcessLink]*

MODIFICATIONS TO USER MANAGEMENT NOTIFICATIONS:

• AD Account Created
• NEW AD Account Created
• AD Account Activated
• AD Password Reset
• Account Login Type Modified (SOLABS Identity)

These notifications, are no longer sent to the following recipients:

Users with the SOLABS System Administrator role

Users with the SOLABS Help Desk

These notifications are sent only to the user for which these actions have been performed, in order to better protect the Temporary Password information included within them.

DOCUMENT NOTIFICATIONS WHERE ISSUES HAVE BEEN FIXED:

• Document To Approve Due
• Document To Approve Late
• Document To Retire Due
• Document To Retire Late

For these notifications, the notification was being sent to all users in the approval cycle, even if the cycle was not yet at the Level assigned for some users.  This has been corrected.  If an Approval Cycle or Retire Cycle has not yet triggered for a user at a higher Approval Level (where applicable), that user will not receive the notification.

TRAINING NOTIFICATIONS WHERE ISSUES HAVE BEEN FIXED:

• Assigned: Training Activity

For this notification, the Due Date that was displayed in the Notification was the End Date set for the Training Activity instead of the Due Date set for the Assigned User. This has been corrected.

• Document Periodic Review (To: [Originator], [document Coordinator], [document Owner])
• Document Periodic Review Due (To: [Originator], [document Coordinator], [document Owner])
• Document Periodic Review Late (To: [Originator], [document Coordinator], [document Owner])
• Training Failed (Third Attempt) (To: User set as Manager in the User Account of the user who has the 3 failing attempts + SOLABS Training Administrator
• Password Expiration Notifications
